Psychotherapy Associates of Broward (PAB) is a small psychotherapy practice located within an upscale semi-residential community. Our practice is differentiated not only by the diversity of its members but by a holistic family approach that leads to practical systemic family solutions. We provide our clients with a group of Marriage and Family counselors and other specialists with wide range of interests who provide services to individuals, couples and their families
Our clinicians have been pre-selected to meet the specific needs of a multitude of different populations and ethnicities. In addition to these services, our practice provides special services for children with learning disabilities, severe adolescents concerns, addictions, and compassionate care for the elderly. Babette Rosabal, PhD, LMFT, LMHC
Babette Rosabal, PhD, LMFT, LMHC, offers over thirty years of seasoned therapeutic experience as an individual, couples, and family therapist. Babette is known for her ability to achieve trust and outstanding connections with her clients that reap rewards for them far beyond their time in therapy. Having twenty-five years of marriage and being the mother of two successfully accomplished young adult daughters, she can effectively analyze conflicts within all age groups that are tailored to their specific and individual needs. Babette is trained in a variety of techniques and treatments and is able to fastidiously customize a plan for each patient that can include, but is not limited to: marital counseling, divorce and relationship counseling, GLBT issues, anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, PTSD, and grief counseling.
Dr. Rosabal has a natural bond with adolescents permitting the development of collaborative relationships. Her strength based solution-oriented approach with this age group helps her to foster trust, therefore achieving optimal individual and systemic goals.
Dr. Rosabal receives numerous client referrals from patients who have attended therapy in her office. Many clients are also referred by pediatricians, psychiatrists, and other health care professionals who have experienced first-hand Babette’s compassionate therapeutic work. Many of her patients report that she is able to help people achieve significant change in a relatively short period of time.
Dr. Rosabal received her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University and holds a dual license as a marriage and family therapist and a mental health counselor in counseling psychology. Babette is a competitive triathlete and emphasizes health and wellness in her work as a clinician.

Miriam “Mimi” Stevens, MS, LMHC, NCC, CGAC
Miriam “Mimi” Stevens, MS, LMHC, NCC, CGAC, offers over 23 years of caring, insightful, and gentle assistance to those needing help with resolving issues that prevent them from living their lives to the fullest.
Mimi is known for her intuitive nature into quickly identifying the issues. Her relaxed personality and open demeanor make it easy for her patients to develop a trusting relationship which she believes is essential to success in therapy. She is able to create a safe and open environment for her patients to comfortably share their thoughts and feelings.
Mimi tailors the therapy to the needs of her patients. In her practice, she has experience working with a wide range of issues affecting individuals, couples, and families. I use a multidisciplinary approach, to be able to adapt to your unique needs. My treatment approach involves a thorough assessment and based on the results a treatment plan and approach will be developed, taking all your issues in consideration.
Being a military spouse and having a diverse background (born in Brazil and lived in several places in the US and abroad) has given me the opportunity to work and connect with a multicultural clientele. I am fluent in German, Portuguese and Spanish.

Michele Nickles is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Miami and a dual Master's Degree from Barry University. She has been serving adults, adolescents, families and couples in South Florida for 18 years.
